"We've only got two weeks to put on this event, can you do it?" Of course we can!
May 18th, 2012, on the eve of G8 Summit, The Chicago Council on Global Affairs in collaboration with the World Economic Forum, brought together international thought leaders to discuss the advancement of global agriculture, food and nutrition security in Africa.
President Barack Obama gave the keynote at this event. Significant new business commitments were announced to help alleviate hunger and poverty and increase the role of women in development opportunities. Also addressing the symposium were the Presidents of Benin, Ghana, Tanzania, the Prime Minister of Ethiopia and many other international dignitaries.
Eco-responsible materials are used for all printed graphics. Stage backdrops and photo-op screens produced on dyesub fabric made from reycled PET. Printed fabric panels can be reconfigured for use at other events. Conference signs were made on recycled plastic board, and symposium agendas printed on recycled paper. Slides for Twitter feed and projection screens were also produced by Paris Design.
The symposium date was modified to specifically coincide with the G8 Summit.
Accomplished the entire design, production and installation effort for this event in just 14 days.
