Discovery Creek Children's Museum

Each season the Discovery Creek Children's Museum has a new thematic experience on an aspect of the local environment at Glen Echo Park. For their interpretive insect exhibit we created "Insect-n-Side". 

"Insect-n-Side" teaches the basic anatomy of an insect. It challenges visitors to create an "insect" using the contents in the "egg", determine its purpose in the environment, and name it.

This low-cost, take-away activity engaged parents and children alike, and was an enormous success.
