The Fort Ligonier museum houses an extraordinary selection of art and artifacts along with a unique collection of French and Indian War era objects discovered at this historic site.
Consisting of 8 different galleries, visitors journey back to the year 1758, along the Forbes' Road through Pennsylvania. It is a colonial time – before electricity, when women had few rights, slavery was legal, and a young George Washington fought here with the British army during the French and Indian War.
Paris Design worked closely with museum staff to develop all content and create master exhibit plan. Visitor flow, storylines, display design, interpretive graphic panels, cases, and artifact placement were all accomplished flawlessly.
